A commitment to accountability
The North East Combined Authority is committed to being transparent and accountable. Therefore information is provided on payments made of more than £500. This includes all items purchased, payments made to suppliers and other costs incurred in carrying out operational activity.
NECA aims to be as transparent as possible, but in some cases may need to withhold information that could be seen as commercially sensitive or where the payment relates to an individual. The list will not include payments made to staff or personal information, such as the names of individuals. The way information is classified will be regularly reviewed to make sure that the process is as accurate as possible.
