Payments over £250 

Tyne & Wear Integrated Transport Authority believe it is important to be open about how we spend public money. Each month we will publish a list of all financial transactions that are greater than or equal to £250 paid by us. The lists show all expenditure made by TWITA to external suppliers and agencies. (Please note that prior to October 2012, the threshold for publishing payments was £500.)

This will include all items purchased, payments made to suppliers and other spend we incur in carrying out our business.

We aim to be as transparent as possible, but in some cases we may need to withhold information that could be seen as commercially sensitive or where the payment relates to an individual. The list will not include payments made to staff or personal information, such as the names of individuals. We will regularly review the way we classify information to make sure that the process is as accurate as possible.
